Privacy Policy
Effective date: April 10, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Good Fun Puzzles ("we," "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website at goodfunpuzzles.com (the "Site") and our iOS mobile application (the "App"). Together, the Site and App are referred to as the "Services."
1. What we collect
We do not require accounts and we do not ask you to provide your name, email address, or other direct identifiers to use the Services.
On the website, we (and our service providers) may automatically collect:
- Device and usage data (for example: pages viewed, puzzle interactions, approximate location derived from IP, browser type, device type, referring/exit pages, and timestamps).
- Cookies and similar technologies used for analytics and advertising (described below).
On the iOS app, we (and our service providers) may automatically collect:
- Device information (device model, operating system version, app version).
- App events (for example: puzzle completions and other in-app interactions) used for ad measurement.
- Anonymous ad attribution data sent to Apple via SKAdNetwork (aggregate conversion signals only — no personal data is collected through this mechanism).
2. Analytics (Google Analytics — website only)
On the website, we use Google Analytics to understand how the Site is used and to improve performance and content. Google Analytics may use cookies and similar technologies to collect information about your use of the Site. The iOS app does not use Google Analytics.
To learn more about how Google uses data, see Google's information on cookies and advertising technologies.
Opt-out options (Google):
- You can control cookies through your browser settings.
- Google also provides tools/controls for certain analytics/ads settings via Google Ad Center.
3. Meta (Facebook) — website and iOS app
We use Meta technologies to measure the effectiveness of our advertising on Facebook and Instagram.
On the website, the Meta Pixel may use cookies and similar technologies to collect information about your use of the Site, including pages visited and actions taken.
On the iOS app, the Facebook SDK collects device information (device model, OS version, app version) and app events (such as puzzle completions) for ad measurement purposes.
To learn more about how Meta uses data, see Meta's Privacy Policy.
Opt-out options (Meta):
- You can control cookies through your browser settings.
- You can adjust your ad preferences in your Facebook Ad Preferences.
4. Advertising and ad attribution
We display ads on the Site. Ads may be served by third parties (including Google, Meta, and their partners) that use cookies or similar technologies to:
- show ads,
- measure ad performance,
- limit frequency of ads,
- help with fraud prevention and reporting.
Some ads may be personalized (interest-based) depending on your settings and location; others may be non-personalized/contextual.
On the iOS app, we use Apple's SKAdNetwork for anonymous ad attribution. SKAdNetwork provides aggregate conversion signals to Apple and advertising networks without sharing personal data or tracking individual users.
5. How we use information
We use the information described above to:
- operate and maintain the Services,
- analyze traffic and usage,
- improve puzzles and user experience,
- diagnose bugs and protect against fraud/abuse,
- support advertising and measure ad performance.
6. How we share information
We share information in these situations:
- Service providers who help run the Services (analytics, hosting, security, ad tech).
- Advertising partners who deliver ads and related measurement.
- Legal/safety: if required by law, or to protect rights, safety, and security.
7. Cookies, tracking, and your choices
On the website, you can reduce or block cookies using your browser controls. If you do, parts of the Site may not work as intended.
On iOS, you can limit ad tracking through your device settings (Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking). You can also reset your advertising identifier or turn off personalized ads in Settings > Privacy & Security > Apple Advertising.
Helpful controls:
8. App Tracking Transparency (iOS)
The App may ask for your permission to track your activity across other companies' apps and websites using Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework. This prompt is required by Apple when an app wishes to access your device's advertising identifier (IDFA).
If you allow tracking, the Facebook SDK may use this identifier to improve ad measurement and deliver more relevant ads.
If you decline or have not been asked, the App will still function normally. Ad measurement will rely on privacy-preserving methods such as SKAdNetwork, and you will not be tracked across other apps or websites.
9. "Do Not Track"
Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. There is no universal standard for responding to DNT, and the Services do not currently respond to DNT signals.
10. Children's privacy
The Services are intended for a general audience and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
11. Data retention
We retain information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy (for example, analytics reporting and security), unless a longer period is required by law.
12. U.S.-focused services
The Services are intended for users in the United States. If you access the Services from outside the U.S., your information may be processed in the U.S.
13. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Effective date" above will reflect the latest version.
